Course Description

This course will give students both a conceptual understanding of Level Development as well as the practical skill to construct your own levels. Students will be able to develop their own applications with the concepts of what makes good skills and examples in mind. As well as build their own projects from templates. Students will learn how to create applications that run on different mobile platforms such as: iOS(iPhones), Android, Windows Mobile, Blackberry, etc. This benefit allows you to use the basic HTML and Javascript skills you have and install and run your application on all different mobile different without having to learn several programming languages.
Students will be able to setup the development environment to create PhoneGap applications. Also know the basic concepts of skills thats needed to build the application. A live demonstration and example will always be performed in each section that the student can follow.

What are the requirements?

  • Students should be familiar with the basics of HTML and Javascript. The basics of these requirements will have a refresher throughout the sections. Suggested programs installed: Eclipse Luna and Notepad++.
